Guidelines on topping up your phone
The Irish Cellular Industry Association wants consumers to get the best value for money when topping up their phones. All the mobile operators have many services in place to ensure that customers can get credit at 'face value' or get an even better deal through various promotions.
We recommend that the best value for money is to be found at outlets that do not apply any extra charges to your purchase; examples include the operators own stores, large retail stores, ATMs, many smaller shops and through purchases online.
As with any consumer purchase, it always pays to 'shop around' and find the best bargain. The operators have all set a recommended retail price at 'face value', and recommend that all stores follow that price.
