Digital Economy Policy Committee

In May 2015 Ibec established a Digital Economy Policy Committee. The purpose of the committee will be to discuss and influence national and European policies which impact upon the creation of a strong digital economy in Ireland, allowing greater innovative use of technology-driven change across all sectors of the Irish economy. The committee will Identify priority issues impacting on several sectors and overseeing the strategic direction of Ibec work in this area. Membership for the Committee will be drawn from across all sectors of the economy in order to ensure a balanced approach that builds on members' expertise.

Alastair Blair, Country Managing Director for Accenture in Ireland, is the new group's Chairperson.
